Completed tiles show the photo, open ones the challenge. Behind it: the leaderboard.

How the game works

Nobody has to go on stage. Playing is voluntary, and still half the room is on the move after ten minutes.

1

Scan the QR code

You print the QR poster straight from the Studio. One scan and everyone has their bingo board.

2

Complete challenges

Every tile is a photo task. Whoever completes it takes a photo and ticks off the tile.

3

Follow it live

Photos appear in the feed and as a slideshow on the projector. The leaderboard shows who's ahead.

4

Draw the winner

At the end you draw the winner among the top scorers and download every photo.

Your board

Christmas challenges that only work at your company.

You know your team best. Mix classics like Santa hats and ugly sweaters with tasks that lead across departments. That breaks up the cliques without anyone sitting through a round of introductions.

  • A board with 3×3 or 4×4 tiles
  • You write every tile yourself and can change it until the party
  • Your logo on the QR poster, your background behind every shared board

Where the game fits into the evening

A Christmas party falls flat in two places: the first thirty minutes and the lull after dinner. That's exactly where photo bingo comes in.

  1. Arrival: QR poster at the door

Everyone who arrives scans and immediately has a reason not to stand only with the usual colleagues.

  2. Short welcome

Really short. One sentence about the game is enough: “The board runs all night.”

  3. Dinner

Speeches belong here, while everyone is seated. The slideshow can already be running.

  4. Final sprint after dinner

Send a message to everyone, like “30 minutes left!”. Now the room mixes.

  5. Draw the winner

Leaderboard on the projector, prize draw among the top scorers, hand over the prize.

  6. Open part

Music up, bar open. Whoever played now knows a few more people.

The full timeline and checklist are in our guide on how to plan a work Christmas party.

For the organisers

Everything you need on the night, in FotoBingo Studio

You set up the event in the Studio and run it on the night from a laptop or phone.

Slideshow for the projector

New photos play full screen on the big screen. The link opens without a login, so it works on the venue's laptop too.

A fair prize draw

In a tie, the Studio draws at random from everyone at the top. No arguing about who was listed first.

Message everyone

Send everyone in the event a message: “Final sprint!” or “Prize draw at the bar in five minutes”.

Printable QR poster

An A4 poster with the QR code and your logo, ready for the entrance, the bar and the tables.

Every photo as a ZIP

After the party you download everything at once, sorted by challenge or by person. For the intranet, a recap or recruiting.

You stay in control

A photo doesn't fit? Delete it and it disappears from the feed, the slideshow and every player's app.

FAQ

Questions about photo bingo at a Christmas party

How does photo bingo work at a Christmas party?

It works like a photo scavenger hunt on a bingo board. Everyone scans a QR code and gets a board of photo challenges you wrote beforehand. Whoever completes a challenge takes a photo and ticks off the tile. Photos appear live in the feed and, if you like, as a slideshow on the projector. At the end you draw a winner among the top scorers and download every photo as a ZIP.

How much does photo bingo cost for a Christmas party?

FotoBingo is free for up to 10 players. Beyond that you pay once per event: €99 for up to 50, €249 for up to 100 and €499 for up to 200 players, each plus VAT and with an invoice. For more than 200 players we'll send you a quote.

Do colleagues need to install an app?

No, nobody has to download anything beforehand. Everyone scans the QR code and starts right away: on iPhone as an App Clip, on Android in the browser.

Which photo challenges work for a Christmas party?

A mix works best: a few classics like Santa hat, ugly sweater or a mulled wine toast, plus a few that only work at your company, such as a selfie with someone from another department. You write every tile yourself and can change it until the party. The photo challenge generator has 150+ suggestions.

How is the winner chosen?

Players earn points for completed tiles and for likes on their photos. For the prize draw, the Studio picks the winner at random from everyone tied at the top, so a tie is never decided by the order of the list.

How do we get the photos after the party?

In FotoBingo Studio you download every photo as a ZIP, sorted by challenge or by person. You can delete any single photo at any time; it then disappears from the feed, the slideshow and the players' app.

What about data protection?

In the EU, the GDPR applies to photos of employees. Say in the invitation that photos will be taken and what you want to use them for, and keep playing voluntary. Our guide to office party photos and the GDPR explains what that means in practice.
