A summer day in Fellbach near Stuttgart, around 300 visitors, live music on stage and, right in the middle of it, a hands-on game that got people excited and moving from the first tap: at MYOSOTIS Festival 2026, FotoBingo turned the festival site into a voyage of discovery.

The idea: a digital bingo board held nine photo challenges in a 3×3 grid that guests solved around the festival site. Anyone who completed all nine went into a prize draw for great prizes such as festival merch or tickets for next year.

80 participants played, took on the challenges and uploaded 550 photos in a single day. The festival got a great atmosphere on site and plenty of pictures from its own guests’ point of view.

“We got a lot of positive feedback from our guests. FotoBingo played a big part in the great atmosphere at MYOSOTIS 2026.”

Tobi, co-organiser of MYOSOTIS Festival (translated from German)

The board: 9 challenges

The digital bingo board combined fun and interaction and brought the whole festival site to life. The challenges ranged from a photo of your favourite act to a selfie with the MYO crew and the question of how guests were enjoying the festival.

One tile led to the bee game at the stand of Bienenschutz Stuttgart e.V., a bee conservation association that MYOSOTIS works with. That brought many guests to the stand who might otherwise have walked past it. At the History Wall, players had to look closely: Walter was hiding somewhere among the photos of past years. And in front of the van of sponsor Wulle-Biere, guests took 62 photos over the day.

Why FotoBingo works for organisers and guests

Guests get talking to each other

Whether it’s a selfie with the crew, a round of beer pong or the search for “Walter”: the challenges give people a reason to talk to others and explore the site.

Brand experience: partner stands become part of the game

How do you get guests away from the main stage to partners and stands? With tiles that lead there. It works best when there is something to do on the spot: at the bee game at the stand of Bienenschutz Stuttgart e.V., guests could play themselves.

Photos from the guests’ point of view

The 550 photos from the festival’s own community are a valuable addition to the pictures of the professional festival photographer: they show MYOSOTIS through the guests’ eyes.

Best practices: 4 tips for your next event

  • Bring in partners and stands: Use challenges to guide guests to partner stands, bars or food stalls – ideally with a task people do on the spot.
  • Nine tiles are enough: A compact board makes people want to finish it.
  • Prizes for a full board: A prize draw, for example with merch or tickets, is a good reason to keep playing until the end.
  • Collect feedback: An open feedback tile shows you while the event is still running how guests are enjoying it.

Does FotoBingo work for brand experiences at events?

Yes. Brands and partners become part of the game through their own tiles, for example a photo at a brand stand or a task at a partner stand. The result is a brand experience that guests take part in themselves and that you can measure in photos and uploads.

Does FotoBingo work without an app?

Yes. Guests scan a QR code and start playing straight away: on iPhone via App Clip, on Android in the browser. No sign-up needed.

What do organisers get after the event?

All uploaded photos plus a dashboard with an overview of participants, uploads and solved challenges – handy for your event reporting.
